From Fan to Creator
Adam is the founder and creative director of Goldeneyes Media. A lifelong fan of mascot horror, he spent years studying what makes the genre work at its best — the characters, the mystery, the creeping dread that sits with you long after you close the game.
Goldeneyes Media is the result of that obsession: an independent studio built to create mascot horror that feels new and timeless at once. Original mascots. Original lore. A world that feels rooted in the genre’s golden era while carving out something entirely its own.
This isn’t a trend chase. It’s the entertainment he’s been building toward his entire life.
— Internal Memo, Goldeneyes MediaTo recapture the creeping atmosphere of the genre’s best years — when a well-designed mascot and a sliver of hidden lore could keep an entire community guessing for months. Goldeneyes Media is not chasing the current wave. It is building the next one.
The world of Goldeneyes Media is told through the artifacts of a bygone era: VHS tapes, cassettes, CDs, and forgotten promotional materials from a mascot company that no longer exists in the way anyone remembers.
Every piece of media is a clue. Every character has a history. Every tape hides something that was never meant to be found.
Gameplay draws from the scale of Poppy Playtime — large, fully realized mascot characters with distinct designs, personalities, and in-world origins — but grounds the horror in atmosphere and psychological unease rather than jump scares and spectacle.
The mascots are big, expressive, and unsettling in ways you won’t see coming. Less blood. More dread. Less shock. More mystery.
